RBGxDD, the inaugural release on Uno Loop Records, marks the debut collaboration between producer Abderraouf B. Grissa (Pink Siifu, DJ Abstract Abder on Radio alHara) and drummer/producer Dan Drohan (Nick Hakim, Olden Yolk, CARRTOONS, Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT). The album blends experimental hip-hop, jazz, and psych-leaning groove music. For fans of CAN, The Heliocentrics, Tommy Guerrero, and Makaya McCraven, RBGxDD sits comfortably between beat culture and live improvisation, appealing across multiple bins.  Featuring contributions from Ahmad Kafari (Sudan Archives, Pink Siifu), Jarrett Gilgore (Jamie Branch, Heart of the Ghost), and Bobbie Johnston, and mastered by Kelly Hibbert (Madlib, Knxwledge, Flying Lotus), RBGxDD is both musically adventurous and immediately accessible. The LP is packaged with artwork licensed directly from the family of celebrated American printmaker Carol Summers, designed by Daniel Rocha, giving the release strong visual and collectible appeal. As the first title in the Uno Loop catalog, RBGxDD establishes the label's curatorial identity and continues to perform steadily with long-tail interest from DJs, tastemakers, and fans of genre-fluid instrumental music.
