Reconnection

Following her critically acclaimed debut album, Two (Jazzland Recordings, 2023), violinist and composer Tuva Halse returns with Reconnection a contemplative and personal exploration of closeness, belonging, and renewal. Rooted in the Nordic jazz tradition, Reconnection paints vivid inner landscapes, tracing the passage of time and the quiet, essential process of reconnecting to familiar places while discovering new perspectives. Structured with a sense of clarity and balance reminiscent of early classical forms, the music gently nods to the Baroque era while remaining firmly anchored in a modern Nordic soundscape.
