Mophing People is an alternative rock unit formed in 2021 by Makoto Miyoshi (Rumania Montevideo) and Litsuko (ex-Shonen Knife). Their music is characterised by a unique collision of roaring noise and infectious, catchy melodies--delivering a sound that is both ultra-noisy and ultra-pop. Infusing indie and shoegaze sensibilities with a distinctly Japanese melodic flair, they have carved out a truly one-of-a-kind presence.
