Riot On Oxford Street

Lenny Kaye releases Lenny Kaye and Friends: Riot on Oxford Street on Johnny Depp’s IN.2 Records.

The album which is billed as Lenny Kaye and Friends: Riot in Oxford Street was recorded at 100 Club on 4th and 5th April 2024 and has been executive produced by Joe Delorenzo, the man who put both nights together. The recording features Lenny Kaye, Jim Jones, the Damned’s Rat Scabies, Marty Love (Wingmen/ Johnny Moped) on drums, Dave Tregunna (Sham 69/Lords of the New Church), Greg Rice on keyboards, plus Clive Jackson (Dr and the Medics) and Alan Clayton (Dirty Strangers) as guest vocalists. The album is released on October 2nd, to celebrate the 54th anniversary of the ground-breaking Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, widely regarded to be the best compilation album of all time.
