Rita finds PÆRISH at their most vibrant and powerful, with recent Grammy-winner Will Yip behind the boards. There is real tension here between nostalgia and the need to keep moving, from French Riviera summers and first songs to working life, toxic relationships, jealousy, and the fear of losing that early creative spark.

As vocalist Mathias explains, Rita takes its name from the bell tower he saw from his family apartment in the South of France. Saint Rita, patron saint of lost causes, became a symbol of protection, light, sacrifice, and the uncertainty of trying to make a life in a band.
