Soft Science return with Sand, their fifth album, released by Spinout Nuggets in the UK and EU and Shelflife Records in the US. The Northern California quintet deepen their mix of dream pop, post-punk, and darkwave, making a record that feels intimate, expansive, and full of momentum.

Lyrically, Sand explores impermanence, tracing how love, memory, and identity shift under pressure, while holding onto connection in an uncertain world. Soft Science are Katie Haley, Matt Levine, Ross Levine, Tony Cale, Becky Cale, and Hans Munz.
