Wiltshire band Sweet Giant's debut Show Teeth moves through slacker rock, garage folk and guitar-driven songs, drawing on the conversational style of Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile's wry wit and Wednesday's distorted energy.
Recorded live with producer Gus White in Wiltshire and self-produced in the band's London studio, the album captures musicians who have honed their chemistry on stage. Annie Needham's guitar and vocals sit at its centre, from the opening “Horseshoe” through the restless “Mess” to the reflective “Tumbling Towers” and closing “Long Day”.
