Silk Rhodes

Silk Rhodes debuted in 2014 with “Pains”, an arresting song which both owed a debt to classic R&B and sounded like nothing else out there. The duo of vocalist Sasha Desree and producer Michael Collins released their self-titled debut album later that year, a collection of minimal, lo-fi and soulful songs that continues to find new fans twelve years later.

As well as the centrepiece “Pains”, Silk Rhodes includes the glittery disco jam “Face 2 Face” and lo-fi stunner “This Painted World”.
