Softy

Lowly return with their fourth studio album, Softy, out 30th October on Bella Union. Following 2023’s Keep Up the Good Work, the Danish quintet set out to reconnect with the creative spark that first brought them together over a decade ago.

Nanna Schannong (vocals), Soffie Viemose (vocals), Kasper Staub (synthesizer), Thomas Lund (bass), and Steffen Lundtoft (drums) returned to making music in a room together, guided by instinct, trust, and each other.

The result is a deeply felt record shaped by parenthood, family, love, and loss, while opening out the dreampop sound that made Lowly such a favourite across the UK and Europe. Four albums in, Softy feels like their most complete and most personal work yet.
