Songs for Sleeping Dogs is just that. In 2022 a puppy was born that would change the course of history. Or at least the recording schedule of Ben Hackett. Recordings took place at night, quietly, so as not to disturb the residents. Woodwinds, keyboards, acoustic guitars, and the softest percussion come together to score the dreams of pets and people. An ode to deep breaths through wet noses.
