Space Police - Defenders Of The Crown

A piece of German metal history returns! Originally released in 2014, Space Police – Defenders Of The Crown is Edguy’s tenth studio album, combining the band’s classic power metal trademarks with hard rock, huge melodies and their unmistakable sense of humour. From the powerful opener “Sabre and Torch” and the title track “Space Police” to the anthemic “Defenders Of The Crown”, the tongue-in-cheek “Love Tyger” and the epic finale “The Eternal Wayfarer”, the album showcases Edguy in all their different facets. With their very own version of Falco’s “Rock Me Amadeus”, the band also delivered one of the most unusual cover versions of their career.

Space Police – Defenders Of The Crown became one of the band’s biggest chart successes, reaching #2 on the Official German Album Charts. The reissue also includes the extensive bonus material from the original Limited Edition – including “England”, “Aychim In Hysteria”, a progressive version of “Space Police” as well as instrumental versions of several album tracks. Back on CD and available as an extensive double-vinyl edition.
