Stardust and Debris

Lotta Wenglen has a long career as a well-credentialed artist, songwriter and producer with her own Record Label Margit Music.

She has toured with Ryan Adams band Whiskeytown, Chip Taylor, Rosie Thomas and has played in a lot of bands such as Blind Lake and Dollykollot. She was one of the fve women portraid in the documentary flm "I'm my own Dolly Parton" along side Nina Persson from The Cardigans.

On the new EP there are two songs that were written several years ago. "Health" is about shared care and here Lotta shares the mic with her old bandmate Andreas Ejnarsson (formerly Ben, now Avantgardet). In the tasteful "Time just slipped away" she sings about the transience and leaving life when the children are still there. Here she kept the demo version's slush vocals and guitar and built the scar around them. On the last song "Trust Issues" she does a cover of her own song "Tillitsproblematik" which was included on her Swedish-language EP "Alla andra ska do" from 2020. Overall, the EP "Stardust & Debris" is a collection of strong compositions carefully produced , full of warmth, love and fantastic musicians.
