Since forming in 2012, Steak have built a loyal international following through relentless touring, acclaimed releases and a sound that pulls together desert rock, psychedelia and progressive heaviness with real purpose.

Written and recorded as a five-piece, this is Steak at their most ambitious and expansive. Crushing riffs meet cinematic atmosphere and the band’s melodic edge, marking another clear step forward as they move into a particularly exciting new chapter.

Cometh sets the tone beautifully: a shoegazing riff wash colliding with thundering drums and bass, topped with an ethereal, hymnal vocal line. It’s a strong introduction to Steak’s evolving sound, wide-ranging in its heavy psychedelic influence but still instantly catchy.
