Stranger

Andrea Bignasca’s fourth album Stranger is a tale of creation: creating, writing songs on the one hand; creating life, becoming a father on the other. The fears, doubts but also the joys that stem from both. The album narrates this through a representation of the music not necessarily naturalistic (as it has been most often in the past), but going beyond what a band in a room naturally sounds like. A bit more processed, a bit slicker, winking at the 80s with the drum sounds and synths, but still striving to be modern. All efforts were put into making something beautiful, imbuing life and work with meaning.
