The debut album from Australian artist Julia McFarlane (previously known as Hot Topic and previously of the Twerps) and her Reality Guest. Ela Stiles guests on flute. Mikey Young mastered it.A thrum of loving synth, a lazy roll of clarinet, percussive flutters. Mournful synths back sweet, murmured folk-tinged vocals. Dream music. It seems very distant but at the same time it’s singing in your head. Super simple synth beats and sweet vocals with the occasional double-bass or flute adding a flourish.
