Originally from Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Gimp Fist has been together for 21 years with 11 albums, 5 singles, and 3 EPs. Take The Power Back is their 12th full length and it's no nonsense street punk.

“We feel like we’ve fused a lot of our influences and styles with this album yet still maintained the Gimp Fist feel. Touching on the current financial climate and working class struggles with songs like “Give Me A Reason” to the angsty, early Rancid esq shout at fascists and bullies with “Waiting For The Punchline“.
