Tales From The Crypt Presents: Demon Knight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

If you want to hear the soundtrack to Armageddon, Demon Knight delivers. The 1995 film starred William Sadler as the Demon Knight and Jada Pinkett Smith as his new recruit, battling The Collector, played by Billy Zane, and his demon army for an ancient relic protecting humanity.

The film did modest box office and drew poor reviews, but the soundtrack became a real standout of its era: a stacked set of thrash and heavy metal, with mostly otherwise unavailable material. Only the Pantera track appears to have been released before the film.

Highlights come from Pantera, Megadeth, Melvins, Biohazard, and Gravediggaz with 1-800-Murder, a defining horrorcore cut. Best of all is Filter’s Hey Man Nice Shot, released here before anything else from the band. This Real Gone reissue arrives on blue and white “Cryptkeeper” splatter vinyl.
