Tell The Truth

Billy Squier’s Tell the Truth is one of rock’s strangest near-miss stories. His eighth and final album for Capitol, it was set for spring 1993 and praised by the label as the best record in their pipeline, before they abruptly shelved it. Produced by Mike Chapman, it’s a sharp, full-bodied set, with Angry landing more first-week radio adds than any previous Billy Squier track.

Now finally on vinyl for the first time in 2026, this deluxe reissue gives Tell the Truth the treatment it always deserved. Newly remastered by Chris Muth and pressed on high-quality vinyl, it comes housed in a thick tip-on sleeve with liner notes, bonus material, extended content, and lyrics. It sold out on release in April and returns here as part of the Record Store Day Essentials program.
