Following on from their successful debut album Trouble In The Shed, Indignation Meeting release their first 7” single featuring a new studio recording of live favourite That Leeds Feeling backed with 43924.
The title That Leeds Feeling was inspired by a poster that Peter saw after a Half Man Half Biscuit concert at Leeds Uni which invited alumni to “Keep That Leeds Feeling, forever”; it seemed to fit perfectly with ideas he already had for a song about his home city.
43924 is an instrumental version of 41241, which pays homage to a KWVR steam locomotive, and showcases 14 year-old lead singer Peter’s uncanny ability to play trumpet and drums simultaneously (we don’t know for certain if this was how it was recorded, but go and see them live if you are sceptical!)
The 7” is limited to just 175 copies in this format, which comes with a full-colour insert and in a special poly sleeve exclusive to this release. A lovely item!
