The Bell Records Sessions

The Bell recordings of Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey are often overlooked. Issued as 7-inch 78's and 45's between 1954 and 1956, for the budget label, the recordings are of great quality in both sound and performance, but apart from a few compilations in the 1960s they have not been re-issued since. The recordings captured new songs as well as standards and even a duet sung by Tommy and Jimmy themselves. This set redresses the long-standing omission from the catalogue and makes these classic recordings available once more, in pristine sound, for the first time in decades.
