Following the success of Christoph von Dohnányi’s complete Cleveland Orchestra recordings, comes the companion volume.  This 31-CD/1-DVD set incorporates all the conductor’s Wiener Philharmoniker recordings, from Mozart and Beethoven to Stravinsky and Schoenberg — orchestral, vocal works and opera. In addition to these, there are recordings with the Wiener Symphoniker and the set is filled out with recordings with other European orchestras. Includes original jackets, session photos and an insightful and detailed note by Andrew Stewart.
