The King Diamond compilation The Dark Sides was originally released through Roadrunner Records in 1988. Featuring rare B-sides, bonus tracks, and rarities from early albums Fatal Portrait, Abigail, and Them, including the sought-after track "The Lake" and the instrumental "Them", it served to bridge the gap between concept albums offering fans exclusive, original-sounding tracks.
