The Dub Battle

The companion album to the Grammy-nominated (and Record Store Day 2021 exclusive) release, The Final Battle. This collection of reimagined dub mixes from The Final Battle came by gathering the finest dub artists of our time. Both featured bands, Sly and Robbie and Roots Radics, arose from the Aggrovators and Revolutionaries at Channel One in the late ‘70s. The Dub Battle finds pioneers King Tubby, Bunny Lee and Lee “Scratch” Perry at their best, mixing the two most important groups of their time, with four generations of dub engineers. Available for the first time, this 2 LP set is pressed on translucent blue vinyl in a gatefold jacket and includes a 3-D poster and 3-D glasses.
