The Gallery

The Gallery is a modern jazz session from drummer-composer Jacob Wendt, featuring six original compositions performed by a top-flight quintet. Recorded on May 18 and 19, 2026, it’s a set that puts the playing and the sound right up front.

Captured all-analogue and all-tube, the album runs through a fully all-valve signal path from microphones to cutterhead. It was mastered by award-winning mastering engineer Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio’s “Hackensack West” studio.

This 180-gram LP is pressed at RTI, delivering the warmth and immediacy that define Cohearent’s audiophile pressings. A beautifully made record for jazz listeners who care as much about the session as the sound.
