A bold artistic pivot, Everything's Calm bridges Yann Tiersen's earlier neo-classical world with a more rock-influenced direction. For the first time, Tiersen takes the microphone himself, bringing a new sense of intimacy and expressiveness to these 10 tracks.

Working with The Married Monk, Claire Pichet and Olivier Mellano, he folds guitar, bass and drums into his signature accordion, piano and violin. It is a natural shift, but one that opens up the sound in fresh and striking ways.
