Troubled By The Fire

Re-issue of Laura Veirs album Troubled by the Water. Originally released in 2006. This is a wonderfully evocative album. Laura has a voice with sorrow threaded through it like gold, and the alt.country production and score give this album the feel of a Carolina porch in the late evening, with fireflies round the lamps and the scent of jasmine on the air.
