The band's hybrid sound of Americana, driving electronics and blissed-out vocal harmonies is finding supporters and fans all over. With latest single Turn, the London-based band have stripped back and shown their soulful side. There's an air of the expansive pop of Fleetwood Mac, with the bass-driven electronic undercurrent of Ewan Pearson's production and the hazy, euphoric guitars giving the track a unique character. Its dusty aesthetic and captivatingly detached vocal makes for an alluring and beautifully rendered road-trip record. On the B side, Ewan Pearson, who has produced the band’s debut LP, and remixed the likes of Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Gwenno, Jagwar Ma and Royksopp, shares his incredible remix of his original production. It is a chugging house rework in his signature style, which makes an ecstatic focus of the track’s howling chant. Turn is the latest glimpse from their forthcoming debut album, produced by Ewan Pearson (M83, Jagwar Ma, The Rapture) during their year in Berlin, and is set for release at the start of 2017 on Some Kinda Love.
