Uncle Daddy

Uncle Daddy is the new album by South London punks Wonk Unit. The album, largely written and recorded during the pandemic, is quite possibly their heaviest body of work yet. It's perhaps also their most collaborative, capturing a year spent at points in isolation and sadness, at others laughing together around Alex's backyard skate bowl.

The album features the singles 'Cyclists', 'Summertime', 'Strength' and 'Raise My Glass', which received widespread praise and coverage by the likes of Steve Lamacq and Rodney Bingenheimer.

Uncle Daddy captures everything that has made Wonk Unit a cult favourite in the UK punk scene - it's heavy but also experimental and humour-tinged, political but highly personal.
