It was a rarity in Dylan's catalogue for its inclusion of celebrity cameos by Jimmie Vaughan, Slash, Elton John, George Harrison, David Crosby, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Bruce Hornsby and features a slicker, more pop sound than many of his previous records.
