Support from Ben UFO, Shapednoise, Pearson Sound, Rrose, J Tijn etc! Project run by Sciahri (Ilian Tape) and Emanuele Porcinai (on Contort as WSR). UNKNOT02 is more of a dynamic, dance floor friendly record. A collection of four, rough / sharp pieces consisting of a fast-paced, offensive A side dominated by two restless, rhythmical experiments plus a more introspective, severe B side which still maintains a melodic core. UNKNOT is the duo consisting of producer/ DJ Sciahri and composer/audiohead Emanuele Porcinai. The core of UNKNOT's sound is strictly bound both to Sciahri's solid techno background and to the mu-table character of Emanuele's electroacoustic productions. The dialogue between such distant practices and approaches is what defines UNKNOT's musical identity.
