If you don't count their archival vault digging exercise in 2013, it's been no less than 14 years since we last heard a record from the mighty Bent. Expert purveyors of sophisticated downtempo meanderings with depth beyond the average coffee table enterprise, their original run in the early 00s was peerless and oh so easy on the ears. Now they're back like a particularly chilled bolt out of the blue with a whole new album for you to melt into. Existing Bent fans will certainly be satisfied with the sound on offer, while their mellow and melodious approach enjoys renewed relevance in the wake of these ambient-friendly times.
