Upstairs Coming Down

Released in 1970, Upstairs Coming Down is a quietly brilliant British psych-folk record that slipped through the cracks.

Across twelve tracks, P.C. Kent combine pastoral songwriting, acoustic guitars, warm harmonies and subtle psychedelic touches, sitting between folk, pop and late-'60s experimentation.

The album shifts between intimate moments and more expansive passages while keeping a consistent mood throughout. Long admired by collectors, it has since gained a solid cult reputation.
