Walk the Winds

Rising from the ashes of the Death Metal legends Ripping Corpse and Dim Mak, Temple of Bones make their Relapse Records debut with Walk the Winds! Featuring Scott Ruth (Ripping Corpse, Dim Mak) on vocals, Brandon Thomas (Ripping Corpse, Dim Mak) on drums, Mike Schweigert (Lord Sterling, Full Speed Ahead) on guitars, and Dennis Carroll (Torture Krypt, Dim Mak) on bass, Temple of Bones combines la homebrew of heavy musical elements to shred preconceptions of styles. 

In a modern age of endless wars, technological carnage and ongoing genocide, humanity seems to be on an endless death spiral. Within the milieu of heavy music, the recently emerged Temple of Bones stands alone. In other words, their music is a melting cauldron of black, thrash and hardcore metal that defies genres.  

The one unifying thread throughout Walk the Winds is unquestionably heavy Metal. Produced by Phil Caivano (Monster Magnet) alongside the band, Walk the Winds sounds huge out of the gate. Lead single "Black Horizon" is fueled by thunderous double kick, as pointed riffs spark shards of darkness. Elsewhere, Scott Ruth's vocals vent the frustrations and struggles of living in the madhouse world of today. Deathly tracks like "Sky is like Ocean" and "Lowly Demon" exorcise the most vile human emotions, "Walk the Winds" tells stories of strife, the fight for survival, and overcoming.
