Without An Audience is a tribute to artists who created in silence, like Van Gogh, Emily Dickinson and Robert Johnson, whose genius was only recognized after death, as well as to those whose voices reached the world in their time, Elvis, Gram Parsons, Howlin’ Wolf, Flannery O’Connor, and Faulkner. It’s also a love letter to the American South, its music, its writers, its backroads, and its old Victorian mansions.
