Limited 7" that comes backed with New Chains (Demo). Your Cocoon is the first release for Jerry Paper since signing to Stones Throw. Co-produced by Badbadnotgood's Matthew Tavares, Paper's vocals are distorted, with the instruments sounding submerged and hazy, adding to the slacker sound. Sitting on the spectrum somewhere between Connan Mockasin and Mac DeMarco, Paper distorts reality to make it more fun, adding his own take of funk with subtle jazzy keys and melodic, plucked strings that echo in the distance.
