Aretha Franklin

Aretha Franklin was born in Memphis and became one of American music’s defining voices, moving from gospel-rooted early recordings to soul, R&B and pop with uncommon authority. Albums such as I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You, Lady Soul and Amazing Grace show her range as a singer, pianist and songwriter.
