Collection: Biz Markie

Biz Markie was the Brooklyn rapper behind Just a Friend, a comic, offbeat hit that carried his beatboxing and big-character charm into the mainstream. Born Marcel Hall in 1964, he first worked with MC Shan and Roxanne Shante, then broke through on Cold Chillin' with Goin' Off in 1988.
