Entombed

Entombed is a death metal band hailing from Stockholm, Sweden. Originally formed in 1989 under the name [a385140], the band has since become a prominent figure in the genre. Led by original member Alex Hellid on guitar, Entombed has undergone various lineup changes throughout their career.

In 2014, a legal dispute arose among the members over the rights to the Entombed name. As a result, Hellid retained ownership of the name while the remaining active members, including long-time vocalist L-G Petrov, continued as [a=Entombed A.D.]. However, in 2016, Andersson, Cederlund & Hellid reunited for live shows to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their second album "Clandestine".

Tragically, former vocalist L-G Petrov passed away in 2021. Nevertheless, in July 2022, Entombed reunited for a festival gig in memory of Petrov. The current lineup consists of Alex Hellid on guitar (since 1989), Ulf Cederlund on guitar (1989-2005 and since 2016), and Nicke Andersson on drums (1989-1997 and since 2016).
