Funkadelic

Funkadelic formed in Plainfield, New Jersey in 1968, with George Clinton at the centre of a band that helped reshape American funk in the 1970s. Their run from Funkadelic and Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow to Maggot Brain and One Nation Under a Groove pushed the group well beyond straightforward dance music.
