Hilde Marie Kjersem

Hilde Marie Kjersem, born on April 27th, 1981 in Ålesund, Norway, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. She studied Jazz at Norges Musikkhøgskole and began touring with Rikskonsertene at the age of 14. Despite her jazz education, Kjersem quickly developed a unique style of music that defies categorization. With the release of "Let's Let Go," she showcased her versatility as an artist who constantly explores new territories. In addition to her musical talents, Kjersem owns Wassup Productions, her own production studio since 2010, and Brødr. Recordings, her own label.

In early 2014, Kjersem changed her artist name to Marie Munroe because she believed it would be easier for her audience to remember. However, regardless of the name she goes by, Hilde Marie Kjersem remains an influential figure in the music industry.
