Collection: Ida
Formed in 1992 by the core duo of singers/guitarists Daniel Littleton and Elizabeth Mitchell, Ida is an indie folk-pop act hailing from New York. With their luminous collection of languid, minimalist pop songs, they introduced their sound in 1994 with Tales of Brave Ida. Over the years, they released several albums including I Know About You and Ten Small Paces. Despite a major label stay at Capitol, Ida finally found success with Will You Find Me on the Tiger Style imprint in 2000. Their music has been compared to artists such as Idaho and Low.
In addition to their work as a band, members of Ida have collaborated with other musicians. Dan Littleton played in Liquorice with Jenny Toomey and Trey Many from His Name Is Alive. He also played guitar on Lisa Loeb's hit song "Stay." Elizabeth Mitchell began her career performing as one half of an acoustic duo with singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb.
Ida's discography includes The Braille Night, Heart Like a River, Lovers Prayers, and My Fair, My Dark EP. Their unique blend of indie folk-pop continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
