Laurent Garnier is a French DJ and producer, born on February 1, 1966. He started mixing House music in the late 1980s in the Manchester scene. Laurent is known for co-founding the label l=f communications alongside Eric Morand. He also co-founded the label cod3 qr with Scan X. Before his successful career in music, Laurent worked as a waiter at the French Embassy in London until 1986.
