Motorpsycho

Motorpsycho formed in Trondheim in 1989 and have spent decades stretching Norwegian rock into all sorts of shapes. Founded by Bent Sæther, Hans Magnus Ryan and Kjell Runar Jenssen, they debuted with Lobotomizer in 1991; drummer Håkon Gebhardt later joined for a 14-year run. Progressive rock is one useful marker, not the whole story.
