Robert Hunter

Robert Hunter was an American songwriter and musician from Arroyo Grande, California. Best known for writing with the Grateful Dead, he also made his own records, including Tiger Rose and Tales of the Great Rum Runners. His songs draw on folk, rock and American roots music without losing their odd, searching edge.
