Sinead O'Connor

Sinéad O'Connor was an Irish singer-songwriter from Glenageary whose voice carried both intimacy and defiance. She moved easily across alternative rock, folk rock, pop and reggae, always sounding unmistakably herself. I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got and her reading of Nothing Compares 2 U remain central to a catalogue of direct, emotionally fearless songs.
