Strata-East Records

Strata-East Records is a New York jazz label founded in 1971. It became a home for independently minded players, with a catalogue that reaches from Shamek Farrah's First Impressions to sessions by Charles Brackeen and Cecil Payne. The label's story sits firmly inside the self-determined spirit of 1970s US jazz.
