Collection: The Cars

The Cars formed in Boston in 1976, bringing sharp new wave songwriting, rock muscle and keyboards into unusually clean, concise pop. Fronted by Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr, with Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes and David Robinson, they defined a sleek American strain of late-70s and 80s pop-rock, from The Cars to Heartbeat City.
