The Drop

The Drop is a New Zealand label with a clear lane in hip hop, dub and soulful reggae. The catalogue here points strongly to its connection with Fat Freddy’s Drop, whose releases sit at the label’s centre. Best to keep it simple: a small imprint focused on rhythm-led music from its own corner of Aotearoa.
