The Heliocentrics

The Heliocentrics is a loose collective of talented musicians, including Malcolm Catto on drums, Jake Ferguson on bass, and Jack Yglesias on organ and percussion. Inspired by Sun Ra, their music blends genres like Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, Psychedelic, Electronic, Avante-Garde and Ethnic music. With a fixed core and additional members such as Barbora Patkova on vocals, Raven Bush on violin and effects, Dan Smith on guitar and Moog, and Jason Yarde on saxophone; they create an alternative galaxy where all these musical styles revolve around "The One".
