The Police

The Police were formed in London in 1977 and active until 1984, with later reunions in 1986 and 2007-08. Their sharp, rhythm-led take on rock drew on new wave, post-punk and reggae, heard across Outlandos D'Amour, Reggatta De Blanc, Ghost in the Machine and Synchronicity.
